This first-class restaurant is centrally located in the beautiful Born area, with a very nice outdoor area that almost demands a visit when the temperatures are right. Chef Jens Dreher is an artist in his field, the menu is not bloated and focuses on quality instead of quantity. In addition to the standards such as schnitzel and steak, there are also other exciting dishes to discover every season. So far it has always been excellent and its price more than worth it. Update October 7th, 2020 - Changed menu. NO more currywurst !!!! :-(. But as always very tasty. All very friendly and attentive. Update 02.09.2020 menu changed. There is again pumpkin-curry soup as a starter. We recommend. Today in Born again. Food, as always, delicious. Unfortunately, I now live a little further away. But all 14 days after the boules game there to eat ....... PERFECT.

Very unfriendly service. We sat at a table for four with two. After us came a couple who found a place, because two tables were reserved and it was full. Then two people sat down at a table behind us that had just been released. The waitress still had to clean the table. We had been sitting for some time and no one had ever been to us for drinks. After cleaning the other table, the waitress came and said the table was reserved and we had to leave. The sign was on a table next to ours. We then said that it was not clear. The tables were not against each other! Then the waitress asked cheekily if we hadn't understood. We also said that we were there earlier than other people. Since she didn't offer any other place either, we left. Very outrageous !!!!

In times of Corona, good advice doesn't have to be expensive ? Here you will find a selection of interesting, wonderfully prepared dishes, served by extremely charming staff! We love this gastronomy and keep our fingers crossed that it will soon be without a mouthguard again! A real asset for us ✨

With friends we went to dinner in the house Strötges. It was completely consistent. My food was sensational. Also all other dishes were great prepared and delicious. The service staff was super friendly. I highly recommend the restaurant will definitely be back.

Even if I'm more in the standard restaurants (Greek, Italian, Chinese, ...) so the "new" (was last a few years ago) just blow me away! At that time it was already delicious. Combinations of ingredients that do not harmonize ... puff cake! An absolute culinary delight, flattery for the eye! And priced absolutely appropriate! Absolutely try, extremely good!

In January we celebrated with ten people the birthday of my mother there. We all liked it very much. The food was delicious. Would like to thank me now in retrospect again with the nice staff for the great successful evening.

What a nice surprise. Had a late lunch here after a 10km walk. Cute modern decor. Wonderful service. And delicious food. Best flammkuchen I’ve had in Germany and maybe even better than in Alsace. The dinner menu looked very interesting and we will probably come back from Cologne one night to try it for dinner.
